A home watch is a scheduled visual inspection of your home and property while you're away for weeks or months. Our crew walks the exterior and interior on a set schedule, checks that all systems and amenities are working, catches problems like leaks, storm damage, pests, or break-ins early, and sends you a photo report after every visit.

How often should my home be checked while I'm away?

Most homeowners choose weekly or bi-weekly visits. If you'll be gone through a Northeast Ohio winter, weekly checks are strongly recommended — frozen pipes and roof leaks do their worst damage when nobody notices for weeks. Some insurance policies also expect regular documented checks on an unoccupied home, so it's worth reviewing yours.

What do you check on each visit?

Outside: roofline, gutters, siding, windows, doors, and any signs of storm damage or attempted entry. Inside: signs of water leaks, HVAC running at the right temperature, water heater, plumbing, electrical panel, fridge and freezer, and any signs of pests, mold, or moisture. We also collect mail, packages, and flyers so the home never looks empty.

Do I get proof of every visit?

Yes. After each visit you get a text or email report with photos and notes — what we checked, what we found, and anything that needs attention. If something's wrong, you hear about it the same day with options for how to handle it.

How much does home watch cost?
